Our Ministries
5 Day clubs ®
How can we reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ who do not attend children’s meetings in church or Good News Clubs?! One of the ways in which CEF is effective in this area is through the 5-Day Club® ministry. 5-Day Clubs® are generally held in the open air during the summer months. The club lasts approximately one hour, is held at an appropriate time and runs for five consecutive days.
The 5-Day Club® program is evangelistic and involves:
Games/activities, teaching songs which are filled with Bible truths, teaching a Bible memory verse, teaching a Bible lesson and conducting a quiz. The great thrill of being involved in 5-Day Club® ministry is reaching the children where they are! Clubs can be held in various places such as: Open spaces and in residential areas, homes and gardens, parks, beaches, camping grounds or local churches. 5- Day Clubs® are hold throughout a week for 5 days in a row.

-Singing
-Memorizing Bible verses
-Missionary spot

What are the aims?
-To evangelize children with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
-To systematically teach the Bible using a four-year curriculum.
-To provide teaching for Christian children and to encourage spiritual growth.
-Working together with the local church to see these children encouraged to attend regularly.

City Kids
City kids is an initiative of CEF Europe to reach the children in the city.
The movement of people groups into and throughout Europe, especially the mass movements in recent years, means that the nations are no longer an ocean or continent away —they are on our doorsteps and in our neighborhoods! Because of this demographic shift, CEF Europe launched a European-wide initiative called City Kids. There are cities in Europe today where the name of Jesus is almost unknown because no one has ever shared the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When the modern missionary movement began at the dawn of the 19th century, only three percent of the world’s population lived in cities. In 100 years this number had risen to 14 percent. As we moved into the new millennium statistics revealed that more than half of the world’s population lived in cities. This trend continues – it is estimated that by 2050, 80 percent of the world’s population will be living in large urban areas. Already, in Europe, more than 70 percent of the population lives in cities. City Kids program will continue as a project in Albania in 2022.
- “If we are to reach the world of the 21st century then we must reach the cities!”
- Harvie Conn, former missionary to Korea.
“Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh, and deliver the message I have given you.” Jonah 3:2
Summer camps
Each summer CEF organizes camps, usually for children who attend GNC. The aim is that children have a fun holiday in a safe and Christian environment, where unsaved children will hear the Gospel and where Christian children will be built up in their faith.
There are all sorts of activities for the children to enjoy including competitions, outings, craft and games, along with Bible time, group quiet times, discussion groups and a missionary story. Volunteers give up their free time or take leave from work to come and help in various aspects of the camp program. It’s a time for them to really get to know the children in their group. Usually our volunteers are trained from the CEF staff and they potentially have also taken the Teaching Children Effectively ™ course from CEF. There are cases there are daily summer camps organized. They run the same program only the children go home at night and come back again the next morning.

Seminars
Short seminars are held in different cities of Albania. Seminars have various topics related to the children’s and teenagers ministry. Usually they are organized in one church in a city where teachers and volunteers will participate. One important seminar we hold annually is the child protection policy where we teach the church leaders on how to protect themselves and the others while serving with children and teenagers. Child Evangelism Fellowship® is committed to practice that, which protects children from harm. Staff and volunteers in this organization accept and recognize our responsibilities to develop awareness of the issues, which cause children harm.
Special annually events
Special annually events are programs CEF in Albania holds once a year. There are at least three important special annually events.
- Christmas clubs
Christmas clubs are Christmas special meetings usually hold in a local church, school or community centers in the city. Thousands of Children in Albania hear the good news of Jesus Christ because of the Christmas clubs that are held in different cities in Albania.
- Christmas shoebox ministry
Christmas shoebox ministry is a special ministry in between CEF of Albania and Team Hope from Ireland. Team Hope, CEF in Albania and the partner churches in Albania cooperate together to help the children in need. Over 25.000 shoe boxes are given annually to the children in need in different areas. In this occasion we also share the Good News and the real gift of God and His love with the children. We meet the children in public schools, orphanages, kindergarten or other places.
If you are willing to participate as a volunteer or create a group to serve in this annual project please feel free to contact and connect with us.
- Easter clubs.
Similar to Christmas clubs CEF Albania also organizes Easter clubs. Children all over Albania have the chance to listen to the wonderful story of the resurrection of Christ. Many children have questions and many of them come to Christ.
Youth Challenge
CEF Youth Challenge ministry exists to help young people come to know, live for and serve Jesus Christ.
We have three aims in Youth Challenge:
- To help young people come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour.
- To encourage young Christians to live for the Lord.
- To provide opportunities to serve the Lord, especially among children.
Children that attend the Good News Clubs® and summer camps from CEF for a few years in row are very familiar with the programs. Very often in their teen years or youth they will express their desire to serve with us as volunteers because they understand the need to evangelize children just as they were evangelized. CEF gives them a chance to serve with children in some areas for the summer camps or 5- Day Clubs® during the summer ministries. We do not only give them the chance to become volunteers, but we also hold weekly meetings with them throughout the year. CEF has a curriculum of Youth Challenge books for weekly study groups. To see the books check our online shop.
Wondersurf
We encourage parents and other Christians to lead children to surf on a safe and fun website where children will get to know more from the Word of God in an attractive way. Wondersurf welcomes children to a virtual world where they can learn more about Jesus and His love and have fun at the same time! At Wondersurf children can do Bible adventures, watch videos and play exciting games! On the website children will meet Trail Guides who are trained, screened adults who will answer your questions and pray for you. Visit www.wondersurf.com
